ParlePrêt is designed to minimise the personal information needed for French speaking practice. The free tool does not require an account.
Practice text and recordings
ParlePrêt does not intentionally upload or store your typed answer, speech transcript, or an audio recording on a ParlePrêt server. Your current answer is held in the browser tab while you practise.
If you use speech recognition, your browser or operating-system provider may send audio to its own speech service. Availability, retention, processing location, and accuracy depend on that provider and browser settings. Choose Type instead if you do not want to use browser speech recognition.
Optional analytics
Analytics load only when a site operator has configured Google Analytics and you choose to allow analytics. Events are limited to broad interactions such as starting practice or checking an answer. We do not intentionally send answer text, transcripts, prompt content, names, or recordings in analytics events.
Purchases handled by Creem
Creem acts as Merchant of Record for the optional digital pack. Creem collects and processes the purchaser’s payment, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, receipt, and order information under its own policies. ParlePrêt may receive order details needed to deliver the pack, confirm entitlement, answer support requests, prevent fraud, and handle refunds. We do not receive or store full payment-card details.
Children and young people
The practice content may be used by school-age learners, but the paid pack is intended to be purchased by a parent, guardian, teacher, or other responsible adult when the learner is under 18. Learners should not put names, addresses, school details, health information, or other private personal information into practice answers or support messages.
Support messages and retention
If you contact support, we use the message, reply address, and any order ID you provide to investigate and respond. We retain support and transaction records only as reasonably needed for service, fraud prevention, accounting, legal obligations, and disputes.
Your choices and contact
You can use typing instead of speech recognition, decline optional analytics, clear site data in your browser, or ask a responsible adult to contact us about a purchase. Privacy questions can be sent to support@saasfeecalculator.com.
